Hello all,
is it possible to create a new tree type for DMEE (Until now you can only use PAYM, DEBT etc)?
I want to use my own structures for transfering data.
Thank you!

Hi ,
are u going to enhance FPAYH/X/P tables ? , u can make use of Zfields of these tables , after that by using Exit modules u can populate values into those nodes.
see sample exit moduels for
DMEE_EXIT_TEMPLATE
DMEE_EXIT_TEMPLATE_EXTENDED
DMEE_EXIT_TEMPLATE_ABA
DMEE_EXIT_TEMPLATE_EXTEND_ABA
see documentations for more info.

Hello,
I would not like to create a file by the Payment program. I want to create entirely a custom application which will upload a file data in my custom Z tables. I could do this with the usual Gui_upload function module, I was just wondering if I can use the DMEE application to do the same thing.

Exactly,
That is why I want to create a new tree type, not just a new tree format, because I want to have my own structures.
I don't know if this is possible, has anyone ever done it, or is it something that cannot be customized?

Hi
you can add your own tree type using V_DMEE_TREE_TYPE maintenance view. you can also provide the structure which will be available to you for mapping in the DME Engine.
Let me know if you need more help.
Cheers!

Hello Mitlesh,
can you give a few more details what needs to be done to add a new tree typ and how this can be used.
How can you then build an application to use the the new tree type to output a file?
Best regards,
Anton.
