Create a complex range code.

Hi, Abapers.

I've have to create a range number composed by two capital letters and two numbers.

Obviously, I know there's no a data type which support this, but I've heard that I can configure an external range.

Is that possible? How can I do it?

You can create a range and set a intevarl as EXTERN, that means that you could write the code on a screen-field!

i've been used ranges up to 2 fields! but 4 fields i dont know which way to go!
