Create a 2D QR Barcode in Smartforms

Hi,
I have a customer invoice form in which at the top right corner, I need to add a 2-D QR barcode. This form is created in Smartforms. If anyone can give me every step directions including creating the output device and all it's parameters, device type and print control, what to put in the window at the top righ. The barcode is dynamic depending on data I have. For example of data needed to be sent is 101000090057896. Sending this to the printer should print the correct 2D QR Code.

I've spent so much time trying so many different things with no luck. I think I'm almost there, but I must be missing some steps, or have the printer info setup incorrectly, or something.

I remember I followed the step here

A Basis Life: Barcodes In SAP with the Barcode Writer in Pure Postscript

import the device types into spool, configure the local printer, use cutepdf , coding your smartform and it's done.
