COSMAS ALE problem with change pointers.

Hi All,

I got a problem with our ALE. We have done all the necessary steps to track the changepointers under message type COSMAS.

But creation or changes are not getting tracked under message type COSMAS instead they are tracked under RS0002,RS0003..

Plz..let us know if any resolution for this.

Raju.

Hi Krishna,

There are couple of things like we are looking at BDCP, BDCPS or view BDCPV table to find change pointers for the message type and we could not locate COSMAS in these tables/view. Thats why first we are worried about why the changes pointers are not tracked for this message type. Later on some research on tables and other transactions we could find another table BDCP2 which is AGGREGATED CHANGE POINTERS table where in we could see our changes tranced under COSMAS. And later we were looking other parts of ALE CONFIG. As many problems are with config or RFC pemissions, our issue was also with RFC authorization due to which data was not passed. This is what happend.
