Hi .

I need to tranport programs from a Server which is Unicode enabled, to another server which is not unicode enabled. What is best way to do it ?

I don't think your going to get any backward compatibility issue....Try copying just one program...If it's works, then you can move the rest -;)

Go to SE38. Give the Program name there and open the program in change mode. Then from Menu bar click EDIT - > Attributes. There if Unicode Check box is checked. Then uncheck that checkbox and activate it. Then try to copy it. if it works then you can copy others also. Do remember to revert the change you had done to object in the Uncode system, so that after copying you can change it back to Unicode Enabled.
