COPY PACKAGE

I WANT TO COPY COMPLETE PACKAGE TO MY ZPACKAGE

WHEN I USE TRANSACTION SE21 IT GIVES ERROR Package must be assigned to the software compo HOME.

PLEASE ADVICE ME THE SOLUTION

HI,

Software package 'HOME' is assigned to all the custom developed objects. That is, all the packages which start from Z or Y belong to this 'HOME' software package.

You can only copy packages having software package as 'HOME', what it means is you cannot copy SAP standard package like 'SLIS'.

Are you trying to copy SAP standard package? if yes, then it is not possible through SE21.

Hi,

copying the standrad package to ZPackage is not possible. that is the reason it gave that message.
