copy from client to client

Hi experts,

As mention in the subject, can anyone please tell me, what is the differences between SCC1 and copy from client (which we click at the utilities) ?

hi,

as fer as know SCC1 copies with a transport request where when you do it from utilities it does not ask for transport request.

Hi Milka,

from t-code SCC1 , all the objects which are under that Transport Request are copied to the cleint ..

while through Utilities in transaction SE71 - SAPscript form

only Script Form is copied.

Milka,

For ex take a case where there are two clients in the same server say 123(Developemnt/Customising) and 345.

Configurations ie Customising requests and Development ie Workbench Request related objects like scripts done in 123 client will not get updated in 345 client as they are client dependent.These things should be moved explicitlty to 345 client using SCC1.

Can I know, what is the different if i transport my form using 'copy from client' and 'SCC1'

Will there having any differ or changes to my form if i tranport it using 'copy from client' or 'SCC1' ?

As i'm not sure to use which way to transport the form.

Milka,

If you have authorisation to SCC1 then use SCC1 else ask the Basis team to move it.
