Convert to PDF

How Do Everyone

I am about to use the program RSTXPDFT4 which converts

a spool file into a PDF file. This is ok when there there

is only say one invoice on each file.

The problem I have is that a certain spool file can have

say 100 reminder letters. If I run RSTXPDFT4 the spool

file is successfully converted into a PDF containing 100

pages. I need to split the PDF up into one file per reminder letter. In this case 100 PDF's.

Does anybody know how I can split the one spool file into

multiple PDF's.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Andy

Hi Andy,

1.

Instead of splitting PDF file into 100 PDFs ,Try to generate 100 spool requests per 100 reminder letters.

2.

Moreover Splitting PDF is not easy .Inconsistency problem is there.

Thanks,

Venkat.O

Hi andy,

why can't you generate the Separate spool for each reminder letter. this makes your Job easy.

But splliting the PDF file cause the Damage of PDF file. some times file may corrupt.

so generate Spool for each reminder. and for each get a PDF file.

u can use these FM to convert from OTF to PDF. OTF files are avilable in system directory(AL11).

CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF

CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF

CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF_ARCHIVELINK

Hi Andy,

You can use RSPO_RETURN_SPOOLJOB

with the Parameters FIRST_LINE LAST_LINE wich you have

to calculate first.

When we run a crystal report for statements let us say for 100 growers, we get 100 statements all in one report.

Is there a functionality in Crystal Reports where the 100 statements in one report can be generated as 100 individual files(one file for each grower) in the file system ?

Hi,

I don't know Crystal Reports but I my guess would be 'No'.

Best bet is to download some free software. Just google PDF splitter and do

it manually
