Convert QuickView to SAP Query?

Hi,

I have found threads in this group describing how to convert a QuickView to a SAP Query (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.highlightedcontent?documenturi=/forums/sdn_jive_forums/thread{74687265616449443d3338323337}.jspa)

The problem is that when I get to the point where I want to click 'convert quickview' the function always disabled (grey) in the menu in SQ01!?!

I have created a user group in SQ03 and assigned my user to the group, but that does not seem to solve the problem...

Any idea to what I have overlooked?

Hello Christian,

Your query area is Global Area (Cross-client), it will only work if you are in standard area.

Which means you are creating client specfic queries.

That is correct. My area is Global Area - I cannot find out how to change to other areas...

select Query Areas change to other standard area.
