Convert a Sapscript into XML

Hi

I know this has been asked to death in this forum, but due to the inability to find a satisfactory answer, I am posting here,

The deal is, we have migrated to a third party proccessor (called Bottomline) in order to print our bussiness forms, our job, on the ABAP side is only to provide the form data in xml, for smartforms we have done this successfully by using the XSF format option inbuilt in the smartform.

   But we are facing a brrick wall when it comes to sapscripts, is there an sap reccommended reliable and effecient way to convert sapscripts to xml, the way it is handled in smartforms.

Have already tried the following

'FB_CONVERT_FORM_TO_XML' - Works only for Smartforms

Can the fm

SAP_CONVERT_TO_XML_FORMAT help ? Can someone provide a usage example ?

Hi sam,

1. TO MAKE THE BUSINESS FORMS OUTPUT TO XML

Comparing to Smartforms sap script is more unstructured manner. But on the other hand XML is highly structured in manner. I hope there is no direct option to convert to xml.

But as you mentioned if your requirement is really for Printing business forms in XML output like sales order or purchase orders we can achieve this using Changing the output types form using NACE & XSL_TOOL . Below is the procedure link to implement this .

For ref I am telling you the below line it may not suite your requirement to transport or copy the SAP Script one Client to another or R/3 to R/3 by using Report program RSTXSCRP
