what is the function module used to convert text string to binary code text?

ucan use this to convert char into any data type.

CONVERT_FROM_CHAR_SORT_RFW.

CWM/CONVERT_CHAR_TO_PACK

Dear Jay

i dont find any significance of the FM with my query.

i donot find the second FM in my database.

i repeat my query

I have to convert text "INITIAL" into Ascii format or binary code.

could you help in finding the solution for the above problem.
