We are doing a conversion of the database from EBCDIC to ASCII. Does anyone have a hint of what trouble we can run into?

Pls check the OSS Note 500950 - iSeries: R/3 EBCDIC --> ASCII Codepage Conversion Doc., it may give some idea.

Pls take opinion from SAP / Basis before implementing the note
