consuming j2ee webservice from function module.

hii all,

i m haing a requirement where i have to call a j2ee webservice(which is fetching the data from oracle database.) from function module .How it can be acheived?

or

shall i go for webservice which will fetch the data from oracle database.Is it possible and if it is so can someone please help me how to acheive the same.
