Connection between 2 SAP system

Hi.

I want to send and receive an IDoc between two SAP system. but i can't connected to an other syestem. i try it juste between two different mandant.

Can some one help me.

Hi,

If you want to interchange data in idoc format between 2 sap systems then you need to as a logical system in other system and define a distribution model and partner profiles then only you can send data in idoc format between 2 sap systems.

You need to connect both the system first then only you can interchange data between them.

but my problem that i can't connect both system, the message error is

Name or password is incorrect(repeat logon) in the transaction SM59.

Hi,

Check with your basis guys and they will do that for you, you need not worry about the RFC connection because its the responsibility of the basis consultant.

Hi,

Through RFC (SM59) u can connect the TWO SAP systems.........

If u are in SAP 4.7 , once u enter into SM59 u will be finding the R/3 Connections... U have to choose that...

if u are in SAP ECC , then u will be finding the ABAP connections.. U need to choose that and create the RFC connection.....

But U need to know the details :

1. Target Host Name .

2. System Number.

3. Logon details...

Hi,

For sending the data between two SAP systems, first we have to create logical system in BD54 and then assign that logical system to the client in scc4 tranaction.

Then create the port in the tranaction we21.create the partner profile in we20. In we 20 we have to give refc destination.

RFC destination can be created by using sm59 tcode....

Hi,

may be you are not giving correct username & password.

first login into 1 SAP system go to SM59 and enter here 2nd SAP system username &passwd and click on 'remote logon'.If this is success u will connect to 2nd SAP system.

same procedure with 2nd SAP system go to sm59 & give 1st sap system username &passwd.

u have any issues let me know.
