Config for ALE

Hi,

I m trying to find out the configuration for a outbound IDOC. Message type is a custom one. There is no configuration has been maintained in BD52 for this message type. I am trying to create one IDOC for a delta change. But it's creating IDOC in some perticuler cases. It's not triggering for all the field value changes. Please let me know the configuration through which it's actually creating this IDOC.

Tcode BD64 - Create Model View

Tcode BD82 - Generate partner Profiles & Create Ports

Tcode BD64 - Distribute the Model view

This is Receiving system Settings

Receiving System(Inbound ALE )

Tcode SALE for

a) Define Logical System

b) Assign Client to Logical System

Tcode SM59-RFC Destination

Tcode BD64 - Check for Model view whether it has distributed or not

Tcode BD82 -- Generate partner Profiles & Create Ports

Tcode BD11 Getting Material Data

Tcode WE05 - Idoc List for inbound status codes

Message Type MATMAS

Tcode BD10 - Send Material Data

Tcode WE05 - Idoc List for watching any Errors

1)a Goto Tcode SALE

Click on Sending & Receiving Systems-->Select Logical Systems

Here Define Logical Systems---> Click on Execute Button

go for new entries

1) System Name : ERP000

Description : Sending System

2) System Name : ERP800

Description : Receiving System

press Enter & Save

it will ask Request

if you want new request create new Request orpress continue for transfering the objects

B) goto Tcode SALE

Select Assign Client to Logical Systems-->Execute

000--> Double click on this

Give the following Information

Client : ERP 000

City :

Logical System

Currency

Client role

Save this Data

Step 2) For RFC Creation

Goto Tcode SM59-->Select R/3 Connects

Click on Create Button

RFC Destination Name should be same as partner's logical system name and case sensitive to create the ports automatically while generating the partner profiles

give the information for required fields

RFC Destination : ERP800

Connection type: 3

Description

Target Host : ERP000

System No:000

lan : EN

Client : 800

User : Login User Name

Password:

save this & Test it & RemortLogin

Goto Tcode BD64 -- click on Change mode button

click on create moduleview

short text : xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Technical Neme : MODEL_ALV

save this & Press ok

select your just created modelview Name :'MODEL_ALV'.

goto add message type

Model Name : MODEL_ALV

sender : ERP000

Receiver : ERP800

Message type :MATMAS

save & Press Enter

4) Goto Tcode BD82

Give Model View : MODEL_ALV

Partner system : ERP800

execute this by press F8 Button

it will gives you sending system port No :A000000015(Like)

5) Goto Tcode BD64

seelct the modelview

goto >edit>modelview-->distribute

press ok & Press enter

6)goto Tcode : BD10 for Material sending

Material : mat_001

Message Type : MATMAS

Logical System : ERP800

and Execute

7)goto Tcode : BD11 for Material Receiving

Material : mat_001

Message Type : MATMAS

and Execute --> 1 request idoc created for message type Matmas

press enter

Here Master Idoc set for Messge type MATMAS-->press Enter

1 Communication Idoc generated for Message Type

this is your IDOC

Hi Kuntal Nandi ,

If u r creating an IDoc from scratch, the following procedure is to be followed :

Step 1:Go to WE81(Logical Message Types).Click the change button.Click New Entries .Enter the entries i.e give message type & Short text & Save it.

Step 2: Go to WE31(Segment Development). Give any name & Click Create button. Enter the field entries. Save & come back. Click Edit>Set Release.

Step 3: Go to WE30 for IDoc creation. Give any name & Click Create .Click create new & give any short description.Click IDoc name & Click create button

Add the required segments 2 this idoc. Save it & come back Click Edit>Set release.

Step 4: Go to WE82 & click change .Click New Entries & enter the details :

Message type

Basic type

Extension

Release

Step 5: Give process code in WE41.

Step 6: Go to WE20 . Since it is outbound configure outbound partmaters . i.e partner no, partner type , partner function

message type , reciever port , idoc name etc.

Note : configure u'r port in WE21

Step 7: Go to BD64 (Customer Distribution Model) & Click change button .Click Create Model View .Click Technical & Click Add Message type.Specify u'r sender & reciever

Save it.

Step 8: Click Environment. Click Generate partner profiles. also u can go to (BD82)

Press F8(If everthing is fine a message with evrything created successfully appears).

Step 9: Go Back>Go Back> Click Edit>Model View>Distribute

Step 10: Go to SE38 & write the custom code.

Step 11: View IDocs in WE02/05

Since for every change IDoc should get generated(Change pointer technique) do the following steps :

define a customer distribution model as discussed above.

Go to BD61(Activate change pointers generally) see that the check box is checked.

Go to BD50(Activate change pointers for a message type)see that the check box is checked for u'r message type.

Go to BD52(Activate change pointers for fields)

check the tables CDHDR & CDPOS. The changes should get reflected here.

check the tables BDCP & BDCPS. See that the status is processed in BDCPS for u'r message type.

Execute program RBDMIDOC

Please give me u'r mail ID so that i can forward u some worthful documents which give a step-by-step solution to solve u'r problem along with screen shots.
