Assuming you are using class CL_GUI_ALV GRID.

Add an extra field in your internal table which you are passing to ALV of type LVC_T_STYL. Field celltab is internal table in which you will specify which field you want to keep editable in a particular row

celltab   TYPE lvc_t_styl

In layout stucture specify the name of variable.

layout-stylefname = 'CELLTAB'.

Now while filling you internal table when you get right value in material type insert a row in celltab e.g.

celltab-fieldname = 'FIELD' . "field which you want to editable.

celltab-style = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_style_enabled .

You can also refer program BCALV_EDIT_02

Hi,

Try this.

For ex: F1 has to be editable based on the values of field F2 type. If F2 = A, F1 shd be editable

1. Create an another field in the internal table of the alv display which is used to store the style

data: begin of itab occurs 0,

......,

.......,

celltab TYPE lvc_t_styl.

end of itab.

2. Set the field F1 as editable in the field catalog.

3. Set the layout as

layout-stylefname = 'CELLTAB'.

4. Then populate the style in the celltab field for each row based on the required conditions.

DATA: ls_celltab TYPE lvc_s_styl,

loop at itab.

if F2 = 'A'.

ls_celltab-fieldname = 'F1'.

l_mode = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_style_enabled.

else.

ls_celltab-fieldname = 'F1'.

l_mode = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_style_disabled.

endif.

INSERT ls_celltab INTO TABLE itab-celltab.

MODIFY itab INDEX sy-tabix TRANSPORTING celltab.

endloop.

By this way you can make the fields editable based on conditions.

Hope this may be helpful.

Sharin
