Hi,

Is there a way to see and compare function modules from previous releases an SPs?

Not within the same system, as far as I know, the version history only shows the latest version for SAP objects, unless it has been modified by the customer.

You can do a remote comparison, in case you have systems with a different release/patch level in your landscape.

Hi,

I agree with Thomas' points. in addition to that you can search for the function module name in SAP Service Market Place. There documentation will be given for the function modules.
