when i try to issue an output type using va01/va02, (menu:->extra->header->output->edit)and assign the output

to send it to mail,using cs01 communication type ,it gives an error communication type cannot be used

check are you using the correct communication type.

also check the output setting in the transaction NACE.

Hi Sanju,

Check the available output types for mail in txn NACT or NACE for V1 Application. I assume CS01 might not be the correct type defined for mail.
