commit work on a called program by "call dialog"

Hi there.

My problem is that db changes are not posted on "commit work".

I'm running in a "badi" - GOS_SRV_REQUEST , replacing the alv att. list.

the current program is called by "call dialog" . How shuld i issue a "commit work" ?

I can't do it in the calling program cause its not a "z" program.

Hi,

if the badi you use is provided for any kind of data update, the calling program will take care of the COMMIT.

Which BadI, your code?

Hi Kobi,

Generally it is not advisable to give our own commit work in a standard sap transaction.

By the way, can you please confirm if you have proper DB Updation Rights on the Server - you are Testing your BADI. Authorization is one of the prime reason of not allowing DB Updates however.
