Hi there,
I would like to know what is the purpose of the menu option GOTO --> Exceptions (Approve and requested) in the SCI transaction.
I've been looking for information in SDN but haven't found anything
Basically, I'm in charge of the quality of ABAP programs in my company. It's not easy for me to check the code inspector
result of every single change made by 14 developers... I'd like to know if there's a way to automate the process for
viewing the results of the code inspector Checks..
Thank you!!!

Hi Felipe,
glad to see you here
For the first part (Exceptions): I haven't seen them in action so far. It should be possible to request an exception for a message and record scope, reason and approver. The second person (approver) can then approve or reject. (4 eyes principle).
For the second part:
You can use SCI on object sets, not only on single objects, is that what you mean?
I'm not sure what you mean by "automate process for viewing the results". Regardless
if you run it on single objects or object sets you have to browse through the resulting messages.
Kind regards,

Hi Hermann, it's good to see you here! thanks for the info... do you know if it's possible to run one inspection for several
transport requests? I noticed that one request is only possible....

Hi Felipe,
as far as i know one can only check one request at a time.
But you can run the code inspector within SE09 on requests.
Thats maybe a little bit more convenient.
Kind regards,
Hermann
