Dear all,

We are going for client copy from QA to DEV server. We have diffrent program code in Dev and QA server. I would like to know at the time of client copy, will my QA server's program,DDIC ,Function Group copied to Dev server or it will just copy the Data from QA to Dev server.

Is it a Data client copy or whole server copy with all code and DDIC .

I want to get impact of QA server's effect at my Dev server.

Please advise.

Thanks ,

-Maharshi

Dear

Are you sure about that?

Coz what will be the status of program, if there are mismatches of requests in both the servers. Like if there are few changes are done in Dev server but not transported to QA for testing so in this case if i copy QA server to Dev server then my edited dev pogram will be over wriiten or will remain same in Dev as it was previouly...

hi,

yes, it is sure.

coming to your second point, if the request is not transported to qas from dev then it will be overwritten by previous request of qas.

OK Dear

It mean suppose i have Request R2DEV in Dev and request R1QA at QA.

and after client copy at both the servers request level will be R1QA.

and there wont be any impact of request R2DEV.
