Client copy from PRD to DEV...

Hi Experts,

I am making a client copy from PRD to DEV (Development) including Master Data and transaction data in development.

Which Profile has to be select ? Pl. guide us.

I am doing client through scc9.

Please use SAP_ALL profile

Hi Yusuf,

If you are exprting client then pls use <b>SAP_EXPA</b> profile.

SAP_ALL won't have cross-client customizing.

And if you are using Remote client copy, then choose SAP_ALL.

I am making Remote Client Copy through SCC9. Supposed I want to Export Client then what is the procedure ? Will U give in details step by step.

Hi Yusuf,

For client export/import, pre-requisite is you need to have STMS configured between both the systems (source as well as target).

1)For client export go to SCC8-> choose SAP_EXPA Profile to copy SAP_ALL + cross client data.

2)Then choose target system

3)And execute in background. This will create 3 requests.

4)Then go to STMS in target system. Requests will come automatically.

Import those 3 requests. All three will be imported simulteniously.

as per to me u can select SAP_CUST & SAP_USER

these 2 are enough for your specifications
