Clarification regarding usage of authorization objects:

Hi,

I have transaction where i am adding some standard already exisiting authorization objects into my new transaction using transaction SU22 and then setting them to be checked.

I wanted to understand how will the process of authorization now go on when any user executes this transaction.

Any links or information to understand this process will be helpful.

The Authorization objects are set in User Record.You can see the Auth objects and their value in SU01D transaction

Hi Naveen,

the auth obj will be executed based on the profile u assigned to the perticular user, as u will assign the values in the profile.

for executing an operation it checks the value assigned at the auth obj based on that the privilage will be given and the corresponding action will be executed.

Hi Mytri,

Can u tell me which authroization object to use if i have to validate whether the user who is trying to executing the transaction is a system admin or not ie., in authority-check command which object to check for and also the value.
