Cheque Printing Issue - SAP SCRIPTS

Dear all

There is a cheque and payment advice printing process for our client, in which the print out was perfect a month back and they were using it.

Suddenly we got 2 issues.

1. The font in the layout is not proper. Example: the font is like 'S AP SC RI T' instead of 'SAP SCRIPT'

2. %SAPWIN% is printing in the top of the layout automatically.

Device type used: SWIN

Printer: EPSON LQ-2190

we have also tried with device types SAPWIN, EPESCP 9. In SWIN the font is coming properly but %SAPWIN% is printing on the top.

Please advice on this issue.

Hi Gurulakshmi

for what I remember SAPWIN uses the client drivers .

Are you using the same configuration (including client and no differences in terms of printer drivers) of one month ago?

Check the font & printer setting in SE73 & SPAD

Hi Sai,

We have already checked the settings in SE73 and SPAD

In print preview and even in Spool, the output is as what we expected.

But while printing it, the problem arises as said earlier (Printing the printer name at top).

check ascess method in spad may b some 1 change that 1  and try EPESCP 9.take help of basis team.

Hi,

I have checked with the access method the Basis is telling it is correct.

But as u said with the Device Type EPESCP 9 -> Font is getting changed and %SAPWIN% is printing on the top.

With the device type SWIN -> the font is printing perfect but amount in figures is not getting printed and %SAPWIN% is printing on the top.

In both the cases the Print preview in SPOOL is perfect.

Please help me to solve the issue.

Hi Gurulakshmi,

Please check the 1 again with the basis team throughly this type of issue is related with improper cofiguration of printer r u using DMP printer or normal leaser printer.Please check it throughli bocz %sapwin% is due to improper cofg of printer and if its a dmp then only EPESC9 WILL HELP U,FOR DMP SAPWIN IS MAY B NOT POSSIBLE as per my exp with check printing.
