Checkbox Maintenance View doesnt write in Database

Hi together,

i created a maintenance view for a database table. One Field of the table is a one character field for 'X' or space. In the  maintenance view this field is a check box. The problem is if I activate the checkbox the 'X' is not written in the database table. There is only space. The other values are taken. If i call the maintenance view again the checkbox is not activated.

What should I do?

I know this link. The problem is i don't use the table maintenance generator. i use this from a view.

You might have created table maintenance generator on maintenance view. Right Click on layout of the screen field in change mode and convert checkboxas input field.Refer screen shot.
