changing the package

hi friends,

i have saved one object in local object .

now i want to assign a package to that

how to do this.

Hi,

the best way is to copy that object and while saving it will ask for a package name.

give ur package name there....

goto Tcode Se03 and folder Object directory on left hand side,select Change object directry entries in tht folder..

give the program name and select the corresponding checkbox,execute,double click on Program name there and now it wil take u to the screen where u can provide new package for this program.

Hi Siri,

Goto that object, and in the Menu option Goto --> Change Dictionary Object and there press the Change button, after chaning give the Package name and it wil aks the Change request

Go to se80.

Chose your object.

Right Click and say Other Functions->Change Package assignemnet.

Hi

If the object is a program then

1. Goto SE38 -> Give the program name and enter

2.then goto menu GOTO->Object Directory Entry and there you can change the package.

This same method can also be done in SE80 for the object.

Hope this of help..

The other ways mentioned above are alternate solutions..

go to se03

Objects in requests - > Include objects in transport request

press execute

give development class

click selected objects radio button

give u r program name

click execute button

(or )

click activate button and give a development class then u r object will be saved in transport request
