Changes to standard program

Hi Friends,

I am facing one problem, I need to do the changes in the standard program, i got the access key also. With that access key i am able to insert the line using insert buton in the application toolbar, but i am not able to add the code between inserts if i try to type nothing is inserting there. What could be the problem?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

Have a look at your ABAP editor settings and choose the option that limits the line width to 72 before proceeding.

Press the insert key on your keyboard then start typing.

Go to Edit->modification operation-> insert line area in menu bar.

R u sure that, u have to make changes to standard sap prog.?

by the way, wht is the requirement? to which prog. u are trying to make changes?

Not sure whats going wrong. Type at the place where Editor it open for editing of course between INSERT. or there is not such space?
