Change the request name.

Hi All,

I have a program to change and which actually has a task assigned with my team mate, and he is not doing any more changes. How should I change the same task with my name, so that I don't have to have a new request.

Hi,

Ask your team mate to change the owner of the task from his username to your username..

GOTO SE09 -> Select the task and press F5 it will show the previous owner and new owner.

In the new owner give your username..

You can do this yourself by going to SE09 and entering the request number and pressing F5.

On the first screen of SE09, select:

Request/task->Display individually

(or just press F5)

Enter the request. It will give a popup to display a request.

Hi,

Goto SE09 Press the button on the application toolbar with the glass button or press F5 to display the CR.

Select the task and press F5 it will show the previous owner and new owner.

In the new owner give your username..

hi Naren,

I have v4.6c and after giving the task, it has two options copy and cancel. If I press copy, it is just displaying the pevious owner. no option to change.

Please let me know, how to proceed.

You have to put your cursor on the request and then press F5.

Hi,

once you display the task..Place the cursor on your team mate's task and press F5..it will ask for new owner..give your username..
