Hi All,
I was just exploring the options available for Change Requests and came accress the Set Standard Request and Reset Standard Request.
Even though I tried it out, I was not able to understand the use and functionality of the same. Can anyone explain as what this option does?

as per sap help
Set Standard Request
Flag a change request as the standard request. When you have flagged a request as the standard request, it is selected automatically when you edit objects. The request selection dialog does not appear.
Reset Standard Request
Remove flag that makes a change request the standard request

If you set a request as standard request .
Any changes you make to any object will be recorded in this request . Normally when you change / create an object system prompts you ( through a POPUP ) to give a request number ( or create one if no modifiable request exists in your name ) . This popup will not appear when you set a request to standard. This normally not desired as you may be working on a lot of objects at a time and would like to keep the changes in separate requests .
Cheers.
