Change Pointers for DEBMAS in customer classification

Hi Experts,

We have activated change pointers in ERD 110 and was able to successfully generate DEBMAS Idocs, when standard fields are changed.

But could not when customer classification data is changed. This classification data is maintained in z fields (example : Enrollment date, Meter#, Account# etc)- the change pointer is not created. I have tried adding activation fields for classification (object CLASSIF and CLASSIFY)..but no use.

Do you know how to get the change pointer created when customer classification data is changed??

Please Note: Am not talking about classification field KUKLA in KNA1.

(tocde XD02 -> Extras -> Classification )

Configurable customer-specific classification data is a feature of MM-master data...curious why that wasn't used and a customer version was developed. I would not have considered customer version after what I've seen done with SAP's features and capabilities.
