Change Pointer on Infotype 0213

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone has had the pleasure of sending data to another SAP system for IT0213 - secondary infotype to IT0021 for Malaysian Dependents.   I am successfully sending over the IT0021 segment via HRMD_A09.  Within that Basic Type is E1P0213 (PA0213) however there seems to be no change pointers generated for that segment.   I am trying to figure out how I can trigger the change pointer to be activated for this table and in particular this field PA0213-ICNUM.

I was under the assumption that all Personnel Administration infotypes did not need to define change pointers...but maybe I am wrong.

Here is what I am looking at for background.  I am not seeing the change Document checked under the data element.  I know that there are items that are triggering change pointers where this flag is NOT checked.

Jason,

Have you checked if the ALE distribution is supported for the infotype 0213 without change pointers ?

If it's not supported , you may need to create a custom segment.

Another option is to try to create an entry in BD52 and see if it works.
