Change pointer BD50 issue

Hi Group,

I am setting up change pointers for DEBMAS IDOC , but I have not found any entries in BD50, when I am trying to add using New entries entries are not saving, after clicking save when I am coming out of transaction its keep on asking save entries, also I am getting warning message :

Choose the key from the allowed namespace.

can any body suggest.

first of all this thread is not marked as question, so your are not really encouraging people to answer.

further you just posted a message, not even the message number, this gives the impression that you had not even checked the longtext of the message, while it is almost selfexplaining, or have you never heard about namespaces? this is the official name for such things like Z and Y programs.

This message is further presented with a yellow icon, which means it is warning.

Warnings need to be confirmed with pressing enter or clicking the green ball on top left of the SAP Gui.

Here I am attaching long text of Warning message, I also thought that its warning message should go once after saving, after entering its not showing warning message but at the same time entries are not saving,also I am attaching screen shot:

Diagnosis

You have attempted to create an entry and have used a key which is not in your namespace.

This can cause problems in later upgrades because the entry could be overwritten by an import, or overwrite an existing entry.

Procedure

Check your entry and try to enter a key value from your namespace.

You can display the namespace definition with RDDKOR54.

If you must use the key entered, document your change so that it can be repeated after an upgrade or release change if necessary. If you put the data in a change request, you can export it before an upgrade or release change, and import it again afterwards.

After you hit enter you should have got another message, an error message actually telling you that DEBMAS already exists, didn't you?

How can this screen be empty? Did you delete all SAP given entries?

Hi Jurgen,

No after enter no messages shown ,after pressing Save no error message showed, I am also concern that no Message types showing in the list ,its totally empty ,is there any config I am missing, I know that BD50 just we need to tick on standard IDOC message type, if it is Z message type then we need to enter otherwise just we need to select by ticking.
