Change Batch Characterstics

Hi,

I am updaing the batch characterstics value using the BAPI BAPI_CHARACT_CHANGE, but the value is not reflecting in the MSC3N transaction screen for the filed Original Extract.Please help me out on this.

Hi,

Regarding on your problem,

i.e.., Here the Bapi is BAPI_CHARACT_CHANGE, In these Bapi, The objects are check for syntax compatibility against the

associated devolpement bapi and interface changes to carry out BOR. So, check the objects,events and all.

Thanks for your suggestions. I checked out, everything seems to be fine. TO update this I am trying out with the BDC also,but it is not capturing exact filed. Can you please help ?

Did you committed data base.Bapi_transaction_commit.

Commited is done. But still its not reflectingg in the classification tab of the screen. Please help on this. Its demand on priority here.

Multiple classification not allowed

Assignment was not created.

Hi,

You should debug to see which FM raises the exception.

May be the debug helps to your requirement.

Go through debug, It may helps.
