i want 2 update d other field when validation fails 4 one table control field and cursor is on that table control field and error msg is showing.

put the field inside the CHAIN-ENDCHAIN block....this block will control more than one fields compared to a single one when you don't use it...

but i am unable to put d field which is not part of table control in CHAIN-ENDCHAIN of table control.
