CG3Z - Problem with Upload

Hi all!

Does anybody know why it's not possible to see uploaded files without filename extension in Transaction AL11? Although I've seen the message that this file was uploaded sucessfully. I've tried also to download this file with CG3Y but without success/

Ist it possible to upload such file(filename extension) or not ?

Any suggestion are welcome

Alexey,

It is possible to upload files with or without filename extension using CG3Z. As far as viewing of file in AL11 is concerned system may not display the file if it is a zero byte file. Also you may check for missing auths.

For downloading a file from app server you can use CG3Y. If you want to select the file using the F4 help then be sure not to delete the defualt file name in the dialog before pressing F4 otherwise system would not copy the filename that is selected.

It's not a problem to upload the same file with filename extension for example ".TXT" , but it's amazing why i dont see this file with blank filename extension ???? Is it SAP problem or Server settings?
