Cannot download ABAP in Eclipse files

Hi,

Can I get your help in downloading the abap in eclipse files from service marketplace, i logged in with my s-user but when I couldn't find the files.

there is no files in downloading page!.

Can you help me?

It should be in the "#OS Independent" part. Did you check there ?

Thank you Abdulbasit, I don't know why I didn't look in independent section before .

Now after downloading this file, I cannot install it in eclipse, it shows me that there is missing files.

I downloaded the file twice but with no luck.

what should I do?

Did you install the required plug-ins ? You can use easy installation files created by :

If you already installed required plug-ins please post the complete message displayed in the "Details" box.

You have to install the required third party plugins within eclipse:

EMF - Eclipse Modeling Framework Core Runtime

EMF Edit Data Binding org.eclipse.emf.databinding.edit

EMF Model Transaction Workbench Integration org.eclipse.emf.workspace

EMF Validation Framework org.eclipse.emf.validation

Mylyn Commons org.eclipse.mylyn.commons

Mylyn Task-Focused Interface org.eclipse.mylyn.context_feature

Yes all the plugins are installed.

the details box show the following message:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.

  Software being installed: ABAP Transport Management 1.0.2 (com.sap.adt.tm.feature.feature.group 1.0.2)

  Missing requirement: ABAP Development Tools Notifications UI 2.0.1 (com.sap.adt.notifications.feature.feature.group 2.0.1) requires 'org.eclipse.mylyn.commons.feature.group [3.6.0,4.0.0)' but it could not be found

  Cannot satisfy dependency:

    From: ABAP Transport Management 1.0.2 (com.sap.adt.tm.feature.feature.group 1.0.2)

    To: com.sap.adt.tools.feature.group 1.4.0

  Cannot satisfy dependency:

    From: ABAP Development Tools Foundation 2.0.2 (com.sap.adt.tools.feature.group 2.0.2)

    To: com.sap.adt.notifications.feature.feature.group 1.3.0

It seems that 'org.eclipse.mylyn.commons is not installed (or the installed version is not supported). Can you check if it is installed :

Help -> About Eclipse -> Installation Details -> Features

and if installed check the installed version. It should be between 3.6 and 4.0 according to the error message.

Finally it works with me, I used the ABAP files mentioned in note #1746931
