when I call tcode VD02 to update 'Search Term 1' field in customer master data.

why It murge house number and street name together and then use it to udpate ARDC table street field.

Hi,

That is the standard SAP functionality . the way SAP had designed the Customer master screens.

Why do u want to change the standard SAP functinality

There must be some strong reason isnt it?
