call method

how do we call a method.

for calling a fn module we do : ctlr + F6

is there any short cut for calling a method ?

or do we have to type all the contents lyk

CALL METHOD cl_gui_frontend_services=>file_exist

EXPORTING

file = l_file

RECEIVING

result = l_result

EXCEPTIONS

cntl_error = 1

error_no_gui = 2

wrong_parameter = 3

not_supported_by_gui = 4

OTHERS = 5.

rememebering export parameter etc ?

Hi,

You can use the pattern button on ABAP editor (SE38/SE80). Click on radio button ABAP objects in the PATTERNS pop-up then give the object instance and the method you need and click continue. The method will automatically be inserted in your code with all the importing and exporting parameters.
