CALL_FUNCTION_GET_NAME_FAILED

Hi,

when i execute my email application itz throughing dump. and i went to st22 and seen the following msg.

<b>An error occurred when executing a Remote Function Call.

"connection closed (no data)"

Status of connection.... " "

Internal error code.... "RFC_GET2"

Unknown I/O error.</b>

even wheni try to run <b>rsconn01</b> manually it is also throwing dump. how to refresh buffer?

an ideas..

hi Srini,

Check the connection Parameters i.e, Username and password that you have given it to acess the remote system is correct or not ...

Check your RFC Connection Configuration. Also, check the used username & password.

can guide me in checking the configuration of RFC connection..

to test connection

1. Goto SM59 transaction

2. Double click on ur connection

3. Click on the Test Connection button

4. here u can check the status of the connection

is there any specific connection should be checked.

because I have checked all conections.

all are fine but still it gives me that error.

Hi,

I am also getting the same error CALL_FUNCTION_GET_NAME_FAILED in the abended job logs.When checked in the dumps it only says some format error in RFC.Any suggestions please no how to rectify it?
