Bullets in E-mail content (not a script) urgent

I have e-mail content.

i use fm Document send api.

In that there are three lines which includes bullet mark.

When I transfer the e-mail contents from my sap program to the E-mail id xxx yahoo.co.in

It shows ‘#‘ symbol instead of bullet symbol for that particular line where ever bullet is used.

I need to display only the bullet symbol . How to do that
