I am new to this BOM. I know the definition but wanted to know all about BOMs. Why do we use this? Where do we use?

Different types of BOMs?

What is explosion of BOM?

How to access the data for a BOM?

Can anyone send me the links? I also need a sample program where BOM utilization is done.
