hi experts,

i have to upload changes in salesorders for va02 transaction using BDC from flatfile.my dought is how to lock va02 transaction while uploading the data?

Hi Gopi,

You do not require to lock it. SAP (BDC program)will take care.

thank u for ur quick response.

as u said that BDC will take for locking of transaction.but in my requirement i have lock the transaction.

is there any way to lock a particular transaction while uploading data using BDC or BAPI

Hi Gopi,

But why do you want to lock the transaction, if SAP is doing it for you.

And you don't lock the t-code, you lock the entries in the table.

HI Gopi...

If You open a sales Document Number and try to open same document no.. in another session or with another user..It Will be locked...

As SAP take care of the locking system...If Your Fucntion ppl still say lock tell You have done it and as them to test....
