i am doing an bdc and getting this error

no batch input data for screen sapmv45a 4001

wat could be the reason

recording in not done properly..............

There are lot of reasons........

one among those would be

U r not passing some mandatory fields in to that particular screen check that........

Solution would be-

Run the session in the foregound and see which mandatory field is missing the entries or any of the fields are getting in consistant values.

It seems that you did not record your bdc properly. record the bdc....

what is the Transaction code you doing recording now ,While recording your functional consultant should sit side of you he will help how full fill the T-code,

Did you built BDC str. in your Program or did you Transfer directly from SHDB .....( how you did ? )...
