BDC - SPRO - OKCODE - Can anyone help me

hai this Sankar, i'm doing BDC for SPRO. I'm getting a problem with BDC recording. In transaction SPRO, while moving into the tree structure, i'm not able to get OKCODEs. then which OKCODE i have to use to process BDC further? Please any one can give me an idea for this..... reply soon.

Hi,

Spro contains alot of Functional transactions. So ask your functional consultant for the Transaction you want to do BDC for.

Also, be advised, that BDCs over transactions that use frontend controls, such as tree controls, do not work very well, if at all.

Hi

It is advisable to create the BDC on the particular transaction, instead of going by SPRO.

I suggest you to first look for a BAPI/FM for the same, if not found, then go for a BDC.

Most of these tree-transactions use View cluster maintenance and BDC will often go wrong. Maybe you ca find the view to update and a transcation code to update it directly. or build your Z-transacton calling SM30 and the view to maintain.
