Hi all,
Suppose we r running a BDC program in background and at the end we found that some records r not updated. What is the solution for this.

Venkat,
You can re-process the session after the errors are fixed.
You can do this only if it is something to do with missing data in tables.

Hi Venkat,
Its simple if the records are not updated it means there r errors while updating ,
So goto SM35 select the session and click for LOG and then click Ananlyze session and u can see what went wrong..
Now go back and coorect u r data and reprocess the session..

Not necessarily. You can re-process the session and only the unprocessed records will be processed.

go sm35 and reprocess the error records.
hi sonal you no need to take the incorrect records as reprocessing in sm35 will take only error records from your file..

But how system will recognize what all data were incorrect and need to process ??

Hi Venkat,
In session method error handling is possible. The records with errors are not updated and they can be reprocessed. Usually Data formatting error (like Date format..) and missing data are the causes of such errors.
