BDC for XD01 t. code-urgent

when i execute my bdc prgm for xd01 transaction, i am getting the following error.

CALL_TRANSACTION XD01 Return code = 1,001 RECORD: 0

S No batch input data for screen SAPMF02D 0100

anyone can tell the reason of this problem?

when i executed, i selected call transaction

Processing mode N

update mode A.

Hi,

This is the very most common error in BDCs. If u do not pass value to any mandatory field on a particular screen then call transaction will result in such error. if u want to know which is the field then put a break point at Call Transaction statement and change the mode to 'A' i.e., all screen mode. and execute. Now transaction will be executed in foreground mode and system will stop at that particular screen where value is required for the mandatory field for which you didnt populated in the bdc code.

Hi

check the recording once

before recording the bdc for XD01 tcode

first create a record manually so that you will come to know what are the required fields in each screen

then record the same using SHDB correctly and generate the program

in your case it seems that you have skipped some screen.

check

see the sample program for VD01

report ZSDBDCP_CUSTOMER_VD01
