batchjob and variant.

my requirement is :

now i was do one batchjob program. i have a variant.the name of the variant is fixed and i have known.when i run the batchjob i want to update the values of the variant daliy. the name of the variant don't changed. when programming ,i have know the name of the variant ,but how can i to fill the values for the variant ?

我再用中文说一遍，害怕我的英文表达不清楚。需求是：我要创建两个batchjob，而且每一个batchjob包含6个steps，每一个step对应一个variant。而我需要把一定数量的customer 分配到variant里面，比如我有24个customer，则每一个variant里面包含2个customer。variant name我是知道的，可是我在程序里面怎么实现，把相应的customer的值放进variant相应的fileds里面呢？

需要使用哪些函数或者structure呢？

ming song,

Go to se38 give thw name of the program.Double click on the variant.The selection screen will filled with the values of variant.Now change the values and save the variant .It will ask to over write.say yes.

Now go to program execute in background.....

Hi,

in your variant you can use "selection variables". You can use SAP standard variables (eg. to calculate a date) or your own variables to fullfill your requirements. For this, you can create via transaction SM30 in Table TVARV parameter or select-options. Your report starts with the variant, get the values you assigned in TVARV and then the report can update these variables. For next run your report get then the changed variables.
