Basis Questions - No suitable task available under request

Dear All,

My apologies if I am mistaken to post this here. I could not find a separate forum for Basis.

Can you please tell me when does the error

No suitable task available under request

<workbench_request_no> comes up?

The modification is being done to a standard SAP transaction.

Its only allowing for the changes to be saved in $TMP instead on custom created package.

Regards,

Prosenjit.

Hello Prosenjit

Modifications should be transported within repair tasks.

Thus, go to SE10 and create a new task for your request (menu Request/Task -> Create... ).

Next put the cursor on the new task and choose again menu Request/Task -> Change Type...

Here you choose Repair.

Regards

Uwe

Hello,

If you are the Owner of the Request, please try deleting the Request (If the Request does not contain any Locked Objects) then create a New Request. Then, you can save the Changes under the New Request.

Thanks and Regards,
