Basic Pay in PA0008

Hi,

Im looking at table PA0008 for basic pay salary.

For some employees the record exists in the table but the amount is '0.0'. But if we see these employees in 'PA30' infotype '0008', basic is displayed there.

What can be the reason?

Thanks

RR

The reason can be either they have updated the table PA30 table directly.

Generally, it should be updated in such a way it should have flow check for all tables, but in some cases if the table is directly updated such a situation occurs..

this is called the indirect valuation ...go to the table and check the field IND01 is checked or not.. if that is checked indirect valuation other wise ...it is direct valuation ...in the direct valuation we can see the values in the table

Thnks for the reply.

Field 'IND01' is marked 'I' for such records. Then, where I can find the basic pay for these employees.
