Barcode scanner device integration with backend SAP system

Dear all,

Please suggest me the solution to Barcode scanner device integration with backend SAP system

  The scenario:

  • Items in warehouse is to be picked by warehouse operators and packed into trucks
  • Example of items like cable (90meters). An order from a customer who wants only 10meters of cable. The operator will just cut and pick 10meters from the 90 meters, thus leaving 80meters.
  • The operator will scan the item’s barcode with a hand-held scanner. This could include the remaining length of the cable to be input by the operator.
  • Information of the item will be send back to the SAP system to keep stock of the remaining inventory in the system.

  Please let me a advise, thank you so much

Hi Duc,

You should create a custom tcode which will have a screen as we developed.

Hi Sidhant,

  Thank you for your reply,

  As I known, this custom program is developed in SAP ECC. Please help me know

  how to connect it with handheld barcode scanner(RF devices). I've already searched

  on google and found out 2 solutions. One is use SAP Console, Another is ITSmobile.

  However, SAP console will no longer supported for SAP-systems based on SAP NetWeaver

  releases higher than 7.0.

  Please help to send configuration & installation guideline for ITSmoblie. Thank you very much
